Mother's Day at Mammy's

We had a fun filled evening at Mammy's house celebrating Mother's Day. Sophie absolutely loves just running around in her big yard. She definitely doesn't get to do this at our house. Mammy's neighbor brought over her miniature horse (and her dog). Sophie got so excited about the dog and almost kissed it (don't know where she gets her love of animals).
Mammy and Sophie played with the little school house that she used to play with Chad when he was a little boy. I think it brought back all kinds all memories for him. Eliza got together the cousin picture...I guess she is catching onto the whole we need to get a picture every time we are together.
The most entertaining part of the night was when Mammy made drums for Sophie and Grant - out of oat containers and yarn and gave them kitchen utensils to use as drum sticks. She had gotten all the kids a recorder and she led them around the living room shaking the maraca, clanging spoons and playing the recorder. Sophie and Grant had a blast!!! They marched around like they were in the band:) Great memories for sure.
