Music City Bowl

Vanderbilt played in the Music City Bowl and I was able to go with Alli, Kyle and Josephine. The seats were amazing and Vandy won:) Josephine was perfect and the weather wasn't as cold as it could have been. Fun day!

Front row and 59 yard line. We even made it on TV a few times (mom called me to see if it was me).

I think we made it on the TV because we were with the cute baby

Sophie's castle

Sophie has a big imagination. She built this "castle" at Nanny's and had a reason for everything she did.

Visiting Aunt Alli and her family

The kids and I went to visit with Aunt Alli a couple of days after Christmas. Her family was in town and we wanted to see them. Sophie and Sutton are in love with Josephine and it so cute to see them together. We didn't get too many pictures and nothing posed...Christmas celebrations had gotten the best of my kids.

Mr. Allen, Nana and Ms. Joan....so glad we got to spend time with them:)

Christmas at Mammy's

I am so behind on the blog, so I am just going to go ahead and put pictures up and not try to get them all together.

We celebrated at Mammy and Pappy's on the 26th and Chad and I worked that day and the next. I don't think we left that night until midnight (I think). Needless to say, it was a long night. We had a blast as always!

Grandpa was having a rough time staying awake

Mammy's money tree is a great tradition.

Christmas Morning 2012 at the Our House

Christmas Celebration at Papa's

Christmas morning

Loved my surprise:) I had picked it out on my trip to Dallas to visit Meghan and really didn't expect to get it. Chad is always good at surprises:)

My little bacon lover

The kids loved their new pajamas. This was taken just before I had to set them down in front of the door and go over what words they were not allowed to say. I was being all serious with a finger pointed and said..."I don't want to hear you say booty, butt, goober, doo doo, penis or poo poo." Sophie looked at me with the biggest grin and said..."I like it when you say those words together." Chad was in the kitchen and we were trying not to laugh, but oh my goodness...what are we going to do!
They are rotten!

Nanny and Grandpa's Christmas Celebration

It's a Girl

Jennifer and Brian are expecting their third in May and they found out a few days before Christmas that It's a GIRL! Grant and Luke are excited for their baby sister.

Sophie and Eliza Singing Joy to the World

Christmas at Nanny and Grandpa's

Sleepy babies after church. We took turns in the car and let them get a good nap knowing we had a big night ahead of us with Christmas celebration at Nanny and Grandpa's. This was just the start of a busy few days loaded with family events. I'm going to go ahead and post the pictures from my phone, and hopefully sometime in the near future I can get the ones up from my camera. This will at least give you an idea of what went on:)

We bought Grant and Luke super hero pajamas and Jennifer gave Sutton some. We told them to act like super heroes and they automatically got in these positions and go the serious face. So cute!

Playing with Sophie's princess play dough toy

Sunday before Christmas

Sophie and Eliza sang Joy to the World during the service on the Sunday before Easter. They did such a good job! Very proud of them:) We didn't even plan to dress them alike...great minds think alike.

They looked so cute and all matched, but the picture was a disaster:)

FFA Christmas party

We went to the FFA Alumni Christmas Party at The Haley's. Sophie was worn out and didn't wake up when we came in the house. She laid in the floor while the other kids tried to wake her up. I might find the video to post soon. It was pretty funny b/c Sutton took up for her and told the other boys not to do that!

Fun day with Aunt Morgie

Morgan had some time off from her Nanny job while the family traveled for the holidays so she got to watch Sophie and Sutton a few times. They love spending time with their fun Aunt Morgan!

Nothing like snowman pancakes!

Crickett county Christmas

I only had a few pictures on my phone from our Christmas play at church. I know Ginger and Aunt Deborah have some so maybe one day I will get them and post. Chad directed the play and actually wrote in 5 extra parts that were probably just as funny as the original if not more. I was Brenda Mae (twin sister of Glenda Mae played by Elizabeth). I was a country cousin and Chad was Oswald, a city cousin. Some of you who knew me growing up might recognize the hair do...I used to roll and spray my hair like this every day. Everyone was amazed at how fast I could get it to look like this. They didn't realize I had many years of fixing my hair on the way to school...had to be quick:) Sophie was one of three wild children who came into the beauty shop making a mess. She did great! I think she is going to be a natural:)

Nativity

The kids really got into playing with the Little People Nativity set this year. Our friends, The Truitts, gave them a different part of the set for Christmas three years in a row. Sophie really wanted to know the story so she could set it up and act it out. What a great gift!

Birthday Painting Party

We celebrated Carrie and Amber's birthdays with a painting party. I had seen where a friend had someone they know come to their house to do the painting class and thought it sounded like a lot of fun. It worked out great that we had 4 couples (except James ended up with the flu) and mom and Carrie's mom joined also. We all brought appetizers and drinks and had a wonderful time!!!

We got to pick out our own pictures and had the ability to customize our colors. Worked out great since we were able to paint them for our kids! They actually turned out really good. We might of had to have a little help from the teacher on some of them:)
The guys even had fun doing this...David was asking when we could do it again:)

Love that my so many of my family members are close by. We have such a good time together!
