18 Months Old!!!

I can't believe I can finally say Sophie is 1 and 1/2 years old. This was after she ate spaghetti all by herself....she loves it! We had to go straight to the bath after this:)
Sophie is growing up so much and learning new things everyday. She is really into all the animal sounds and enjoys making the noises as we ask her about each one. She even quizzes us at random times. She will say "neck" and I say giraffe and then make a monkey sound and I guess. These are the two that come to her mind on her own. One of the funniest is her sound for a dog which is just breathing hard like a dog pants.
She tries to repeat a lot of things we say to her. When Chad gets her out of bed in the mornings before he leaves she will start demanding "milk" before he even puts her down. She is all about routines. It really does amaze me that she asks for certain things when she knows it is time. She gets out of the bathtub asking to brush her teeth, starts kissing us goodnight as soon as we put her pajamas and holds my hand when I get to her crib so that we can pray before she goes to sleep.
She loves being outside and just running free. It is hard to keep her in your arms because she just wants to get down and do her own thing. This is fine when we are out in Eagleville in big yards with the road far enough away, but it is a bit of task at our house. Chad is good about taking her out when he gets home so they can water flowers together. She loves it and really enjoys that time with her Daddy.
Sophie loves her cousins and gets so excited when she sees them or when we talk about going to play with them. She is one lucky girl to have so much family around to love on her. We stay busy all the time either meeting up with family during the day, going to Wilderness Station classes or swim lessons. I figure we need to get out and do as much as possible now that the weather is nice. Sophie really is easy to tote around and loves attention so is pleasant when we are out in public (for the most part). I am just loving being with her and sharing these special times together.
