We survived the trip to Perdido Key on Thursday evening. We left after Chad got home from work and made it in just before 2am. The trip went pretty smoothly and the girls slept from about 9pm on so that helped. Chad rode between the carseats for the most part, but I managed to squeeze between them for about 3 hours in the middle of the trip (it was a little harder to get out). Grandmama and Grandaddy woke up and came down to greet us when we arrived. The girls woke up and were so excited! It was a little hard to get them settled back down to sleep. The pack-n-play wasn't happening for Sophie so I just slept on the couch with her.
Of course the girls were up raring to go around 7:30am. Grandmama got up and made them pancakes while Grandaddy went to Panama City to pick up Aunt Morgan (she had been with friends all week).
