Camp Jesus

Chad finished up the VBS decorations after our afternoon of pictures. Hopefully we will be able to put some of the professional pictures on the website. I think there are going to be some great ones of Sophie! I stopped by the mexican restaurant before picking Chad up at the church and Trace Adkins was there. This was my lame attempt of getting him in a picture without being too obvious...not the best picture.

Sophie's 30th Week at Church

Sophie played with Mrs. Christi and her daughter Bethany during fifth Sunday dinner. Aren't we cute in our coordinating outfits?

Bib and Buckle Festival

Sophie had a star filled night at the Bib and Buckle Festival hosted by friends of Michael and Elizabeth. It was on Deborah and Ben's farm that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. Joey and Rory put on a great show and had a few other song writers perform one who wrote Brad Paisley's song, Waiting on a Woman. Sophie also got her picture taken with Naomi Judd. We had a great time and can't wait until the next event!

Hanging out at the Beauty Shop

Sophie got to hang out at the beauty shop while I got my hair done. It is getting a little harder to hold her while I sit there so it is nice to have a little extra help. Granny and Papa were a great help!

Aunt Alli and Uncle Dr. Kyle's Going Away Party

We hosted a going away party with the Hodge's (Ashley, Cole and Meg) and the Haltom's (Claire and James) before Alli and Kyle left for Singapore. Claire had the party at her beautiful new home and her sister catered the event. All I had to do was bring a dessert and pitch in with money and I had mom make the peach cobbler. It was a great party and Sophie got see lots of friends. Meg is 3 weeks younger than Sophie (although Ashley was due three days before me). They hadn't seen each other since they were about 6 weeks old. Grandmama and Grandaddy and Aunt Amber and Uncle James and Karlee came to say goodbye to Alli and Kyle. Sophie also got to meet the Ross family - Jeff, Jennifer, Luke, Ben and Sam have been Alli's family in Nashville since College. I can't believe how much the boys have changed since I first met them and the youngest was only 6 years old!!!

Fun Times with Mammy and Pappy

Chad was working on the backdrop for bible school in Mammy and Pappy's garage so Sophie and I came to hang out and give moral support. Mammy was breaking out all the toys in the garage and Sophie was having such a good time playing with her. Pappy cut Chad's hair while we were there. We are fortunate to have family members who can do hair!

Hanging Out with Karlee

Sophie spent the afternoon playing with Karlee. They are definitely interacting with one another more now. Karlee is sooo much more mobile than Sophie. She is crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything! They are going to be a handful together:)

Memorial Day Celebration at Aunt Deborah's

We celebrated Memorial Day with family at Aunt Deborah's. Yes...we are a little cheesy and coordinated our outfits.

Happy Birthday Granddaddy!!!!

Granddaddy's Birthday was on the 19th, but he was out of town for work so we celebrated when he got home. We ended up cooking breakfast on Memorial Day to celebrate. It was a nice morning so we decided to eat outside. Grandmama gave her a bath before they went home.
