Drive home from the beach

We left the beach around 4pm and the kids slept most of the way home and went back to bed when we got home too...they were worn out!
Sutton had to use the bathroom almost everywhere we stopped on the way to the beach and back. Of course he isn't potty trained and we aren't trying, but he does use the bathroom on the potty often...especially when it isn't convenient for me:) He has to take off all his clothes and shoes and touches everything...I just have to get over the germ thing because it is pretty bad! I keep telling myself we will really push the potty training and help him out when we get back from our trip to California...can't imagine having to go through that at Disneyland!
For those of you who have ever been in the car with me as a passenger you would know she sleeps like her Mama!

Panama City Beach

Grandpa cooked breakfast both mornings...he had some help:)
Sophie loves her cousin Tiffany soooo much!
The kids found a fish washed up on the shore...they thought it was a baby shark!
We got dressed on Sunday morning for pictures on the beach and it actually went better than I expected
Sophie enjoyed time on the beach with her Mammy. They shared a love of finding shells (just like Nanny and Daddy)

There was a ton of seaweed on the beach and in the water, but we made the best of it!
Sophie and Sutton on the morning before we left Nanny and Grandpa's. The three of us slept in Dustin's old room and woke up at 4:30am to leave. They were so excited!
Buried in the sand!

Panama City Beach Trip

We decided pretty last minute to take a trip to Panama City Beach with Chad's family. At first it was just going to be Jennifer and her family and Nanny and Grandpa, but then Mammy, Pappy, Michael and family and Deborah and family decided to come too. Brandon and Dustin (and Andriana) were the only ones who weren't able to come. It was the first time we have all been to the beach since Chad and I were dating 7 years ago! It was definitely different with all the kids.
The kids and I rode down on Friday morning (after spending the night at Nanny and Grandpa's). Grandpa drove us in our car and we followed Jennifer and her crew (with Nanny). Chad flew in that night after work and we drove back Sunday night so it was a real quick trip, but so glad we were able to make the trip with (most of) the family.
These are just a few pictures from my camera. The rest are on another post that I created from my phone. It was a lot easier to get the pictures with the iPhone...I can tell I'm slacking on picture taking now that I have it!

Wine and Easel with My Sisters

Amber, Morgan and I went to the Wine and Easel in Franklin on the Thursday night before we left for the beach with Chad's family. I had bought a double take deal online a year before and just happened to look at it the day before it expired. Chad and I had planned to go, but it wasn't the best timing since someone needed to pack for the trip so Chad offered that I just go with my sisters. We had a great time and the pictures didn't turn out too bad either!
The example on the right and the one the teacher painted during the class on the left
Ours actually turned out pretty good!

Zoo Day With Cousins

Amber and Carrie were going to the zoo with the kids and agreed to bring along Grandmama and Sophie and Sutton. Fortunately Lexie was in town and offered an extra hand with all the little ones!
Carrie's Tahoe was like a bus and I'm sure it was an entertaining ride. Katelyn and Sutton rode with Amber and Grandmama
How cute is this?? I wish I were there in stead of working, but Carrie kept me updated with pictures all day.
Carrie and her co-pilot Lexie
You know it had to be a little wild. I was surprised to see them out of the strollers so much!

Lynne's Surpise 30th Birthday Party

We had to get a picture with Sutton and his ancestor Popcorn:)
Yes, we did have our kids at the Tin Roof, but we weren't the only one with kids there:)
Lynne's parents definitely surprised her!
We went to Lynne's surprise 30th birthday party at the Tin Roof in Franklin on Sunday night
Our little monkeys!

Eliza's Birthday Party

We celebrated Eliza's 6th birthday with a pool party. It was a fun time with great food:)

Haynes Cousin Reunion

We had lunch at the Eagleville Community Center for the Haynes Cousin Reunion. It is all of Don's first cousins on his Mom's side. It is pretty cool that they all still make an effort to get together.

I looked over and Chad, his Dad and Uncle Jimmy were all sitting the same way...

Playing in the Rain/Mud

These were pictures Jennifer sent me while I was at work and the kids were playing in the rain/mud at Nanny's house. I was just glad they gave them a bath before I got there:)

Big Boy Chair and Big Boy Underwear!

Still not really ready to potty train, but did get some big boy underwear and some pull ups for Sutton to try out!
Sutton has been out of the high chair since we had everyone over for Katie and Shane's shower. The high chair got shoved in the garage to make room and never made it back out! He is doing pretty good, but I have to say that it is a totally different feel now that we are all sitting in the chairs at the table:) Growing up too fast!
