I got some pictures off Nanny's camera and thought I would share.

Sunday Before Memorial Day

We tried to look patriotic in our red, white and blue for church in honor of Memorial Day. After church we ate hot dogs quickly and then went to Aunt Deborah's to swim. We weren't really having a big family event...just a few of us in the pool. Great time...relaxing...as relaxing as it can be at a pool with two toddlers. We left there and went straight to David and Carrie's house to eat dinner and visit with Aunt Joan and Big Dave some more before they headed back to Sevierville.

Popsicle time! You can guess who gets what they want from Grandmama:)

"Nana" giving her grandson what he wanted too:)

Trey's 3rd Birthday Party - Mickey Pool Party

While Chad worked on the Johns wedding, I took the kids to Trey's Birthday party at Carrie's mom's house on the river in McMinnville. Mom road with me and helped out since it is kind of hard to watch two toddlers with a pool and a river near by! We were surprised by our good friends, Kevin and Candace who came down with their 6 month old, Parker. It was the first time we had met him and he was soooo adorable. The kids and I stayed away b/c Sophie had thrown up the night before and we weren't sure if she had a stomach bug or just a one time thing. We weren't even sure that we would be going to the party that morning, but she made it through the morning without getting sick so we figured we could take a chance.

We had a great time and the kids loved the Mickey theme. They looked so cute in their ears:)

Absolutely love this one...they were all about the cake and I took the opportunity to snap a picture of them from behind before running to make sure they didn't have fingers all in the icing:)

With "Papaw" watching the boats go by

Our "babies" are growing up fast!

This picture was a bit of a challenge (as you can see). It is not easy to hold two kids and get them to all look! It is funny how much things have changed in 8 years since we were in Cancun for Kevin and Candace's wedding:)

Wedding Flowers - Johns/Jewell Wedding - White & Black

Chad had a busy spring with 3 weddings and this was the second one. The ceremony was at Kings Chapel in Arrington, TN and the reception was a Samary Farms in Eagleville. The bridesmaids wore black and the brides inspiration was vintage inspired. She wanted white bouquets and centerpieces and she brought in the turquoise accents to finish out her look.

Disney Dance Camp

Sophie got to go to Disney Dance Camp at Bravo Performance Academy in Murfreesboro. It was from 9-11am M-F and they had a little performance on Friday evening. Fortunately, we had family and friends pitch in to take Sophie each day. She did great during the week and loved going. She was pretty  worn out each evening. She would tell me some of the things they did, but really didn't want to practice the songs during the week. I was surprised when I got to see the final performance.
I got to watch the dress rehearsal earlier, so I knew Sophie knew what she was doing, but that night she was a little tired and got distracted easily. She was still super cute and very happy to be there. Since then, she has performed for us numerous times and just keeps getting better and better! I think she might be an entertainer.

Sophie had a little crowd to support her at the performance. Morgan had to work so she watched the dress rehearsal that morning.

James brought Sophie to the performance b/c Amber ended up sick with a stomach bug. Sweet cousins!

Karlee wasn't so sure about them at first, but she warmed up to the princesses and really thought they were real.

Sophie and Abby (or as Sutton calls her "Babby"). Sarah and Abby watched the kids several days during the week so they could take Sophie to dance camp. Sarah had to work, but it was so sweet of Abby to come watch her performance.

Mammy gave Sophie some high heels and jewelry for a little gift after the show. She loved it so much she had to try it on right away:)
