We celebrated Mother's Day with Grandmama on Saturday afternoon. Grandaddy surprised her with a trip to Perdido Key and they were going to be leaving Sunday morning. It was a last minute trip, but Chad is able to take off Friday so we will get to go down for three days at the end of the week. Uncle James wasn't able to take off on such short notice so Chad offered to ride in the back with the two carseats so Amber and Karlee could ride down with us. We tried it out to be sure they could fit...it is a tight squeeze, but he says he can do it. Grandmama and Grandaddy were having a yard sale at our house on Saturday so he didn't really get to hang out with us during the celebration. Chad made Grandmama a banana split cake that she requested and we grilled out burgers and hot dogs. It was a fun afternoon!
