Bowling Family Benefit Concert

Tuesday night Chad and I met in Hendersonville to watch a gospel concert to raise money for The Bowling Family (Kelly Crabb of The Crabb Family married Mike Bowling and her sister Tara Crabb joined them to form the new group). The three of them, along with Mike and Kelly's three little girls were in a horrible bus accident earlier in the summer. The gospel community got together to raise money to help them out as they recover. There were so many great groups there and it was for a great cause www.bowlingfamilyonline.com
This picture is when Chad and I were dating (5 years ago) and we were in Sevierville and ran into Kelly and Tara at Walmart. I had never even heard of The Crabb Family, but quickly learned about them because they were one of Chad's favorite gospel groups. We saw them in concert several times before they split up into their separate family groups.
Grandmama watched Sophie while we were at the concert. Good thing b/c we didn't get home till almost midnight. Luckily, Sophie went to bed easily and Grandmama actually left her alone even though she really wanted us to go check on her when we came home and she started moving more on the monitor. Hopefully this was good practice for when we are at the hospital when Sutton comes.
