Visiting Santa and Mrs. Claus

We got a tip that the Santa at the court house in Murfreesboro was a good one. It turned out to be a great experience. We looked up on the internet to find out when the professional photographer wasn't going to be there and got to use our own camera....no $10 bad picture. I think the Santa and Mrs. Claus are there every Friday and Saturday in December each year. We will definitely be going back!
When we got there no one else was there and Sophie was so excited she ran right to Santa and climbed on his lap as we were trying to get the video camera ready. She was a little shy at first, but not scared at all. She told him she wanted a football for Christmas. She had told us that early when we were trying to prepare her for the conversation with Santa. I have no idea where she got that! We don't even watch football or talk about it. We asked her what color football and she said..."pink." This wasn't just a one time thing, she told everyone who asked what she wanted from Santa that she wanted a "pink football." Of course this meant that "Santa" was on the hunt for a pink football:)
Grandmama and Grandaddy met us at the court house to see Sophie and Sutton with Santa. It was so great to see Santa in this type of setting b/c there weren't any lines and we got to spend a lot of time talking to him and taking pictures without feeling rushed.
