Christmas Morning at Our House

Sophie didn't wake up in the best mood (she had been really congested and had pink eye in both eyes). She didn't want to open presents at first so we started with Sutton and she helped him:) She got in a better mood pretty quickly and we had a great morning of opening gifts. Chad made breakfast and then we spent the rest of the day playing with new toys (Sophie and Chad) and sleeping (me and Sutton).
She was really cute with him and would show him the present and tell him what it was...so sweet. He really watches her and is happy when she is around.
Not easy to get them to pose for pictures

Loved the Pjs but he really hasn't been naughty this year:)

Sophie opened her stocking presents first and turns out the $5 view master was her favorite gift! Kind of ironic that she had pink eye in both eyes...had to remind Chad as he was looking in it after her:)

Opening her "Santa" presents

She got her "pink" football. It was a little more purple, but she isn't great with her colors so we figured it would pass.
Sophie asked for a pink football, clothes and money. We don't know where the football came from since we don't even watch the sport, but thought money and clothes sounded more like our child. "Santa" brought Sophie a present with clothes and two $1 bills on top. It was cute when Sophie opened the gift and gave one of the dollars to Sutton saying "that for you Sutton." Sophie got lots of fun toys and I was surprised along with her about a lot of them since Chad did all the shopping and wrapping and I was almost always asleep when he got them out to wrap. She got a cash register or as she calls it her "grocery store," Elmo doctor kit ("I like Dr. Bigham, Mommy"), Memory "my matching game," broom and dust pan, toy golf club set, Tag Junior and books, a barbie, Ariel bath toy, sticker books and other Melissa and Doug toys for church.

Sutton got a little tool bench and Sophie was showing him how it worked

We really bought Sutton more clothes than toys this year since it probably the last time we can do this without him complaining.
