We started off the New Year's with a great meal prepared by Aunt Joan:) It was great spending the entire day with everyone and just relaxing. Sophie got to see Devee, Jeffrey and Lexie - Devee got in the back of the picture so you might not notice how small she is now. Sophie and Trey had a breakdown when they saw each other. I have no idea what happened, but Sophie just lost it and she is usually excited about other "babies". I know I have told her about her Uncle David and how he and I used to fight, but I didn't mean to scare her:) It didn't take her long to get over it and get comfortable with her buddy Big Dave. He always pulls out toys and entertains her. Kevin and Candace came over after lunch and we got to hang out with them. She is expecting at the beginning of July and we can't wait to meet Baby Moon! Sophie liked Trey better when he was in his bouncer and couldn't grab her. I can't believe she was being so sensitive...we are going to have to work on this!
This was the first time we had seen Aunt Joan since she has been diagnosed with the kidney problems. I don't remember all the names of things, but she has been on steroid treatments to help keep her off dialysis. So far the treatments are working and she is making progress. We are thankful for the answered prayers and just keep praying that it will continue to work.
