Storytime at Barnes and Noble

I had read in the Rutherford Parent that Barnes and Noble would have a costume storytime on the Saturday before Halloween so we decided to venture out and practice with the costume. Chad had been working on the costume over the past week or two and put a lot of time and love into it:)
It was hard to get the costume on her and I wish we had a video of her ripping the bra off as we both were trying to get her in the skirt. Chad did a quick repair and we left for the outing with just the skirt on. She fell asleep as soon as we pulled out of the driveway and when we got there she was a different child. She put the bra and wig on without any problem and kept it on the entire time. She enjoyed all the attention she got:) We got there a little late and everyone was oohing and ahhhing as she came in. She was repeating things as the lady read the story..."pumpkin Mama" "bats Mama" and was real excited about everything. They made a mask and a ghost as the craft and then we went around the store to different stations to "trick or treat."
We had several parents take pictures of her and one parent spent several minutes trying to get her son to pose with her (kind of like we were at Disneyworld). One young boy (not part of storytime) commented as we walked toward the register saying "that is one cute baby you have...she must be very happy to have such good parents." I don't know where that came from but it was pretty sweet coming from a young boy (I'm guessing around 10 years old). We walked over to Hallmark to buy her the Ariel ornament (stay tuned for more about our hallmark ornament addiction as we work on our collection over the next two months).
OH...Sutton was with us too. I had him in the baby bjorn and he was great and slept the whole time. We were hoping his costume would come in the mail before we left, but we barely missed it.
