We drove down to Atlanta on Saturday morning to stay with Jeff and Kristin and attend their "couples" baby shower. It was so great to see them and to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their baby girl (still waiting to learn the name). It was a little bit of a task to keep Sophie from getting into everything. She was the oldest of the four children there (the hostess had a 6 month old so the house wasn't completely baby proofed yet). She played with the dogs (through the glass door) and then played in the tissue while they opened gifts. It is definitely different having a mobile 1 year old at an adult event...no more just sitting in my lap! We stayed the night with Jeff and Kristin and then left Sunday morning in time to get back for church. We had a wonderful dinner at Houston's and then just hung out at their house before bed. Sophie was tired, but had fun playing with Jeff...she even showed them her "dance." Such a fun visit!
