While I was in Dallas, Aunt Alli made a surprise visit. Kyle had finished his PhD in Chemistry at MIT a couple of weeks ago and they packed up everything they owned in a storage unit, and took the rest with them in Alli's car and started their trip that would end in Singapore. They had spent the first week with Kyle's family in South Carolina and were on their way to Alli's family in West Tennessee when their car broke down in a small town in Georgia. A sorority sister of ours saw their posting on Facebook and offered to come get them (2 hours from Murfreesboro). They needed a bigger car since they had a small car packed so full they couldn't fit another person. Chad cleaned out the Envoy and Melissa went to get them. They stayed the night with Chad and Sophie and Alli's mom met them at the airport on Sunday morning when they came to get me. So I got to see them briefly.
They are coming to Nashville on Thursday for a going away party that Claire, Ashley and I are throwing for them. On June 1st they are going to Singapore where Kyle is working on a post doc for the next 2 years.
