Day 1 - SeaWorld

We started off our theme park adventures with Sea World. I think Sophie was a little tired and trying to catch up from our change in time zones and traveling, but overall she was such a trooper and really had a good time. We watched a little show with the seals and otters first and then walked around the other parts of the park waiting on Shamu's show that afternoon. Sophie enjoyed looking at the different fish and pointing (we did lots of pointing on this trip). She did not like the 4D Sesame Street Movie that squirted water on you from the seat in front of you (in a dark theater with really loud noises). Guessing we won't be taking her to a movie theater anytime soon. She liked Shamu a lot better behind the glass and she really enjoyed the Beluga Whales (her Daddy's favorite). We finished up right around the time Stacey got off work and met her back at their house to head to the beach for pictures. We were visiting my friends from college, Dallas and Stacey, who have lived in San Diego since we graduated in '02. Stacey is pregnant with twin girls and due at the end of January.
