Sutton's First Trip to the Zoo

Our little family of 4 went to the zoo on Saturday afternoon. Sutton slept almost the entire time in his carseat (in the stroller). We changed his diaper once when we were outside the old house and Chad was going to try to go on the tour. We started the diaper change in his carseat and realized it was more than just pee. As we were changing he started emptying out and we quickly moved to the steps where Chad put him on my lap. I have no idea how we managed to finish the clean up without getting it all over us (and him). 

Sophie had fun with her Daddy at the zoo. He was able to get her out of the stroller and let her walk around some. They also rode the carousel...her favorite! It took us a lot longer to go through the zoo since we actually looked at all the animals. Sophie and I had gotten in the habit of just going to a few places and missing out on a whole area of the zoo in the process. It was such a beautiful day and we had fun on our first little outing as a family of 4:)

We ate lunch at Grandmama and Grandaddy's before we went to the zoo and went back afterwards and had dinner. James and Amber were there with the girls and they had fun playing.
