Our first full day home was not what we had planned. Sophie woke up crying at 6:15am (her usual time is between 7:45 and 8:30am) and I could smell the poop from downstairs. Chad went up to get her and it was a big mess (never happened before). At first we thought maybe it was just being off schedule for the past three days and eating a lot more greasy things. We went ahead and gave her milk and it wasn't but about 10 minutes later and she threw that up. Oh...Chad had already given her a bath and then taken a shower (he had it all over him too) and started the laundry with all her bedding and clothes. So then he cleaned up the throw up too. She wasn't acting too pitiful but wanted to lay on the couch and watch Mickey. Daddy took care of them while I took a little morning nap. Mammy and Pappy were in Murfreesboro for the morning and came over to help out while Chad ran some errands to get my medicine and a few things at the store. The rest of the day Chad spent changing lots of diapers. I guess Sophie was just getting him prepared for the newborn diaper changes. Did I mention that Chad is also on diaper duty for Sutton too. I have to get past the whole circumcision thing, but I really don't like messing with it right now...it looks so painful:( We kept Sophie on the BRAT (banana, rice, applesauce, toast) diet for the rest of the day and absolutely no milk hoping she would get better.
