Nanny joined us for the Wild Things class on Wednesday morning. This was just her third time, but I could tell Sophie is catching on to the little songs and getting into it a little more. They learned about salamanders and she brought one out for them to look at. Sophie really tried to make her way in to the center of the crowd so she could touch (even though they were told that they could just look and not touch). I don't know where this child came from b/c I would never want to touch a salamander! Sophie does well interacting with the other kids (as long as they do what she wants and doesn't take anything away from her). Sophie and Nanny made a salamander out of play dough and then we went on the nature walk. We were telling Sophie to slow down at one point and she misunderstood and thought we said "sit down". So we took a little break while Sophie sat in the middle of the walk to "rest." After the class we celebrated Cinco De Mayo at a mexican restaurant down from our house. Sophie had a great morning with Nanny!
