Saturday morning I went to my friend Christy's baby shower and Sophie spent the day with her daddy. They went to the Discovery Center in Murfreesboro and then to Captain D's to have lunch with Nanny, Grandpa, Jennifer, Grant and Luke. It had been storming/raining since we got up (and probably before that), but we had no idea how bad it really was. We watched the news when we got home to make sure we made it through the tornado warnings. Once we thought we were in the clear we watched things on TIVO and didn't watch the news till later that night. The flooding in Antioch and Franklin was out of control. I-24 at Bell Rd was covered and a building was floating down the interstate. There was one drowning that had been reported at that time. We have been fortunate not to have anything that severe in Murfreesboro. Needless to say, we stayed home for the rest of the day!
