Weekend With Granny

Sutton and Liza...the two youngest Lambs:)
On Saturday we got a call around 1pm saying that the hospice nurse didn't think Granny was going to make it and only gave her an hour or two. We were planning on going out there and were just finishing up lunch and getting ready to go so we dropped everything and left right away. Everyone got there within the hour and Granny started doing better. She knew who everyone was and seemed to enjoy having everyone around.
Sophie ate all weekend. Every time I turned around she had something else in her mouth. This was her dipping strawberries in sugar (thanks Uncle Jimmy)
Don's first cousins from Chattanooga were in town to visit and they went to the grocery store and brought back lots of food for us to snack on and my mom made beans, cornbread, macaroni and cole slaw for us to have for dinner. From that point people started bringing food and desserts and the house was full of people all weekend. I think all 42 of us were there at some point on Sunday.

Eating ice cream with Lane in the play room. The kids had a lot of fun playing together.
