Chad and I celebrated Valentine's Day (a few days early) with a date night to
High Point Restaurant in Monteagle, TN. We left the birthday party a little early and the kids stayed with Nanny and Grandpa. It was a beautiful day, sunny, but cold...made for a nice drive. It would take about 45 minutes from our house, but since we left from Eagleville it was a little over an hour.
I hadn't heard of the restaurant until recently when several people at work were talking about it. We had a great time and dinner was great...probably one of the best steaks I have ever had. The restaurant is in an old house that was supposedly financed by Al Capone and his halfway point between Miami and Chicago. It was a nice atmosphere and great food...would definitely recommend!
