Breakfast with Donald and Friends at Tusker House

 We made reservations for breakfast with the characters at Tusker House in The Animal Kingdom on Thursday morning of our trip. We made it to the park before it opened and got to see Mickey, Minnie and Pluto make their entrance.
We posed for a picture with Donald at the entrance (which they try to sell you the package later) but he wasn't in the restaurant for autographs. Sophie said "Did Donald sign my book?" as we were leaving...knowing he didn't. We sure were hoping we got to see him again during the day:)
The food was great...we always love breakfast. Sophie absolutely loved the Mickey waffles. With that being said, it was not worth the $67 we spent. They seat the sections at certain times and the characters make their way around the room for meet and greets. We barely had time to get our food (it was a buffet) before they got to our table. They came with just a few minutes of each other and it was a scramble to get the camera, try to eat and get the kids fed. I guess it would be worth it if you were just at the park for a day 

or two and you didn't wan to spend time chasing the characters and standing in line. As you can see from the pictures, we saw the characters plenty. We had more time with them and got better pictures throughout the parks. I wouldn't say we regret the breakfast...it was the one big meal we had the entire time. I don't think we would do it again. Of course, next time we will probably do a princess breakfast for Sophie:)

The little parade was great until Sophie got under his feet where he couldn't see her and he knocked her down. She was a trooper and hopped right back up:)
