We met up with my friend, Jenny, and her daughter, Marlee at the zoo on Friday. It was Jenny's spring break (which also meant that all of Davidson County was on spring break and the zoo was crazy busy). It was also 80 degrees and I did not have anything besides long sleeve shirts and jeans for the kids. We lathered up with sunscreen and made the best of the hot day. We didn't see too many animals and enjoyed most of the time in the shade eating our picnic lunch and talking. Amber, Karlee and Katelyn also joined us for day.
We went to Eagleville after leaving the zoo and Nanny and Grandpa watched the kids for the evening so that Chad could get started on the flower arrangements for Tiffany's wedding (and I could help). They took them to see Granny at the nursing home and then to eat at Shoney's before bringing them home.
