We stayed in our cabin for the first time since last March. We usually stay with Aunt Joan when we are in town and the cabin is rented or if it is a short stay, but we decided to take advantage of the cabin and relax a little. We slept in both mornings and really spent most of our time visiting family so we weren't there that often. Sophie loved the jacuzzi tub. She popped up in the morning and when she spotted it she said "bath" really excited! It was so deep that I had to get in with her to give her a bath and make sure she didn't get hurt in there. Sophie hung out with her Daddy while I slept in on New Year's morning. She sat on the couch and ate her waffle:) If anyone is interested in staying in the cabin let us know and we can work out a deal for the off season that is coming up - I don't think we have anything booked for 2010 so far. Paradise Landing Resort manages the cabin so you can check out the calendar on their website to see if it is booked. The cabin sleeps 4 with a king size bed in the master bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the upstairs loft. There are two full bathrooms, a hot tub on the screened in porch, a pool table, jacuzzi tub and fire place (yes...it is nicer than our house). It is located about 5 miles off I-40 in Dandridge, TN and just 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge and about 45 minutes to Gatlinburg. The cabin isn't located directly on the water, but their is a resort dock that you would have access to. Paradise Landing also rents boats and jet skis. Had to do a little advertising:)
