Grant joined Sophie at Wild Things class this morning and they had fun together learning about snails. Sophie and I went to Grandmama's afterwards to eat lunch and hang out with Amber and Karlee and Aunt Morgan. We attempted a nap with the girls, but Sophie didn't cooperate so we ended up just wasting a lot of time inside trying. We headed back out to Eagleville that afternoon (we had been there the night before also) to help Chad with the vacation bible school backdrop. This is his 10th year to do the decorations. I helped watch Wyatt (somehow didn't manage to get a picture in all the chaos) at Nanny's until Amanda got home from work and then headed up to Mammy's to paint for a little while. There was a quick downpour of rain that resulted in a beautiful rainbow (don't know if you can see it in the picture).
Chad had been working on this project since Friday night (didn't get home till 12:30am) and again Sunday night (late). I helped Tuesday and Wednesday night, but took Sophie home around 9pm. This made for a busy week!
